Home Docs Fabula Getting Started Server Requirements

Our theme, like any other WordPress theme, requires adherence to minimum server recommendations to ensure proper and seamless functionality. Most of the recommendations below are official and sourced directly from WordPress.org requirements, with slight adjustments for more modern PHP usage and higher limits to support smooth demo import installation. Please note that when choosing and installing a theme, you should take responsibility for reviewing and verifying these recommendations in advance. Any issues arising from outdated, problematic, or poorly functioning servers will therefore be your responsibility.

Web Server
  • Apache or Nginx is recommended.
  • Apache with mod_rewrite module enabled (for friendly URLs).
PHP Version
  • Minimum required: PHP 8.0
  • Recommended: PHP 8.1 or higher
MySQL or MariaDB
  • MySQL version 5.7 or greater
  • MariaDB version 10.3 or greater
HTTPS Support
  • SSL certificate for HTTPS support is required.
  • Most hosting providers include free SSL certificates through Let’s Encrypt or similar services.
Memory Limit
  • Minimum recommended: 128 MB
  • Optimal: 256 MB or higher
WordPress Environment
  • This theme requires WordPress 6.0 or higher.
  • Ensure that your server allows uploading files of at least 2 MB to support theme and plugin installation.
Execution Time Limits
  • PHP max_execution_time: Minimum 120 seconds, recommended 300 seconds.
  • PHP max_input_time: 300 seconds or higher.

Meeting these requirements ensures your WordPress site runs smoothly, fully leveraging our theme’s features and minimizing potential issues during installation and use. If you’re uncertain about any settings, check with your hosting provider or go directly to Theme Dashboard -> Status to view the details.
