Our theme adds two additional post meta values that are actively used for sorting posts, setting their trendiness, and popularity: likes and views. You can view their counts directly on your post listing page in the respective column:

Here’s how they work: each user viewing a post increases its post views by 1, but for the next 72 hours, any additional views from that user won’t affect the specific post they visited. This way, the user can add another view on certain post only after 72 hours. Similarly, for likes, but the user additionally needs to click the like button to add one.
